In these forgotten spaces,
electric hum, wet pavement places,
in the angles sunlight makes
down into cool, green water.
In traffic song,
the flooding sewers,
on sunburnt roofs, where aerials and cranes
are sundials among the window panes,
and beneath metal roots
the air is wild in the crystal cave drains.
